From the Journal

I have used the galah bird as an analogy, the essence being to do with "Father and Son". The one is watching over and behind the other, but they share the same character and heart.

It always surprises me that in galahs there are two contrasting colours found on the one body; pink and grey... A wonderful combination too! The symbolism is that the grey represents suffering and struggles, and is sometimes like a dull grey blanket over the top of everything. But the pink represents energising power that is visible there as well, and is seen most fully in the "upward whoosh" of flight...

The following verses express my faith, which are my heart, whatever else is going on around or within me;

I WANT TO KNOW CHRIST. YES, TO KNOW THE POWER OF HIS RESURRECTION AND PARTICIPATION IN HIS SUFFERINGS, BECOMING LIKE HIM IN HIS DEATH, AND SO, SOMEHOW, ATTAINING TO THE RESURRECTION FROM THE DEAD.

FORGETTING WHAT IS BEHIND AND STRAINING TO WHAT IS AHEAD, I PRESS ON TOWARDS THE GOAL TO WIN THE PRIZE FOR WHICH GOD HAS CALLED ME HEAVENWARDS IN CHRISTJESUS.

—Phillipians 3 ; 10 -11, 13b - 14

Anyway, it's good to be under WINGS!
