Galahs Disturbed... The Upward Whoosh

On occasions one or another of the grandkids and I decide we will run full pelt into a group of settled grey galahs on the ground, just for the sheer fun of it...

We call it "whooshing the birds", and that's just what happens! They all rise up in one great whoosh of flapping wings and fly off... (but soon return, unperturbed)

It's worth it just to see a wonderful expression of the colour PINK!
